Our Anonymity

I have wondered how to write this post on and off for the last three months. I am still not sure that I can do it justice though, however this is my attempt (although I’m not sure it does the topic justice) on wondering about our anonymity.

I have wondered whether we should remove the anonymity of us behind Minxy & caged. At the moment I am leading towards staying anonymous as we both have reasonably visible roles in society that our colleagues and competitors can see and I’m not sure how ready they would be if we were to reveal ourselves.

I definitely note that there are others who have revealed their muggle identities on their blogs, however I’m not sure how comfortable I am revealing myself even though I have considered doing so every now and then. While I do not think it would actually achieve anything other than possibly averting an actual outing.

For the moment, I do not plan to change the status quo and reveal myself, however I regularly think about it and that may change in the future, although I do value our privacy and future.
